I wouldn’t be here without the people who’ve supported me every step of the way—my mentors; my mom for getting me started, Carolyn, for pushing (okay, forcing) me into this and always being the best cheerleader and support a girl could need. Sister Barb for taking on my installation and even with a hiccup made it so lovely. All of your care and love was felt, and I am so honored you did this for me. Nanawhacker, for always knowing what I need and helping me do just about everything. My friends and board members who made this role feel possible and fun. To everyone in this group who encouraged me to step up, stretch myself, and believe in me even when I wasn’t sure I could. To my kids and husband, because without them, none of this would be doable. Thank you for your patience, love, and constant reminders of why this work matters so much, as well as keeping me laughing and feeling the JOY in ESA. You all are my Basket of Joy.
